Anil Godhawale
With over 25 years of experience in Project Controls, I’ve worked across a diverse portfolio of complex engineering programmes spanning defence, oil & gas, and major infrastructure. Alongside delivery, my core passion is advancing Project Controls as a recognised and respected profession—driving standards, creating pathways, and strengthening its global identity. I actively contribute to industry-wide development through roles such as: 1. Drafting the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Project Controls 2. Serving on the CIOB (UK) Training Development Working Group (TDWG) to support accreditation in Time Management 3. Developing the Level 3 and Level 6 Project Controls Trailblazer Apprenticeship Standards 4. Chairing the APM Project Controls Advisory Group (PCAG) to help mature the profession My academic and professional credentials include a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Finance, and industry-leading accreditations: 1. IEng (Engineering Council UK) 2. CCP and PSP (AACE International, USA) 3. APMG PPC Practitioner 4. Fellow of the Controls and Skills Authority (UK) I believe Project Controls is more than a discipline—it’s a life skill that enables better decisions, better delivery, and better outcomes. This belief underpins my work in creating and scaling platforms that strengthen capability across the profession, including Project Controls Expo, Project Controls Institute, London Metropolitan College, and Project Controls Online.
