Joined Northumbria University in 1990 after a career in Construction & Project Management with one of the largest building contractors in the UK. After 7 years as director of the Construction Group in the School, he is currently Director of Postgraduate Research, and has research and teaching interests in Construction Management, Managing the Design Process, Project Management and Lean Construction. He is actively supervising research projects and writing articles in the areas of Production Planning, Lean Construction, Partnering and Design Management.
