I’m a professor of design at the Umeå Institute of Design, Umeå University in Sweden. I have previously been a studio director at the Interactive Institute, an adjunct professor at the School of Textiles at the University of Borås, Sweden, and an associate research professor at the Center for Design Research at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Denmark. I received my PhD in 2001 from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. In 2006, I got the Design Studies Award and in 2009 I was elected as a fellow of the Design Research Society.
