Dr Erik Bohemia is the founding chair of the Academy for the Design Innovation Management, an international network for developing and supporting the interests of the design innovation research community. Erik has been exploring the Design Innovation Management for over two decades. He has worked with high profile international universities and multinational industry partners based in the USA, Canada, China, Taiwan, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Spain, Japan, Netherlands, Brazil, Australia and Korea in collaborative research, teaching and learning activities. He has been a visiting professor with Polytechnic University of Milan and University of Ljubljana. He also worked at TU Delft as a visiting scholar. In collaboration with his colleagues at Oslo Metropolitan University and international collaborators, his currently developing an emerging area of Design Literacy skills to enable organisations to incorporate design as part of their sustainable innovation strategies.
