Tamara Carleton
Is a global leader in helping organizations to create vision-led, radical innovations. She is the CEO and founder of Innovation Leadership Group LLC and lead author of the Playbook for Strategic Foresight and Innovation, a hands-on guide that has been used by hundreds of teams to be more innovative. As a leading researcher in the organization and management of radical innovation, a selection of her insights can be found in the recently published The DARPA Model for Transformative Technologies: Perspectives on the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency edited by William Bonvillian, Richard Van Atta and Patrick Windham.
She is the International Online Professor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the EGADE Business School of Tec Monterrey in Mexico; Visiting Professor in Design at the Osaka Institute of Technology in Japan; Visiting Scholar at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland; and holds multiple roles at Stanford University – as an alumnus of Design Foresight, head of Stanford’s Silicon Valley Innovation Academy, and an instructor with Continuing Studies.
A multidisciplinary scholar, Dr. Carleton holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Science from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University.
