I am an agile consultant, author, and trainer living in Canmore, Alberta. I helped create DSDM in 1994 and have been using agile approaches ever since. I help organizations effectively combine aspects of leadership, agile, traditional, and emotional intelligence to deliver valuable solutions.

I operate as a sole proprietor but partner with larger organizations. As such, no job is too large or too small and I often provide short-term advice to organizations grappling with agile adoption issues. I helped design the PMI-ACP credential and have written two best-selling books on how to study and pass the exam. I teach courses in agile leadership, agile for executives, and preparing for the PMI-ACP among other topics.

I am a long-term contributor to project management publications and was chair of the group that developed the Agile Practice Guide with the Agile Alliance and co-lead on the PMBOK Guide 7th Edition.
