Jacek Wojcieszyński; Art of management is about making (not avoiding or postponing) hard decisions. A strategic choices must be more rational than before (and rationality is more science than before). In case of IT now it’s best time to re-think, re-design IT strategy to enable constant business change, to be more competitive, to deliver smarter and slim solutions based on what is on the innovation frontier. I believe that future is going to be more open (by sharing data, services, resources), more mobile, smarter (by applying AI) and more decentralized (by putting more on blockchain).

I delivered the BPM based solution for PKO BP for the New Operational Model (digitalization) of the retail part of the bank (for 20 000 users, over 6 mln customers). It covered pre-sales, sales and post-sales products support. The solutions was built in-house and incrementaly delivered. The architecture of the solutions consist of the one front end (360 customer view), BMP framework, SOA-based integration layer to all applications involved in a business processes execution (e.g. credit scoring engine, Alnova core banking, Iron Mountain docs archiving) and KPIs reporting platform.

I’ve spent 10 years working for telco operators and I was being responsible as Head of IT for development, operations and support of IT applications (billing, CRM, provisioning …).
