Works as a chief research scientist at the VTT Technical research Centre of Finland (http://www. vtt.fi). He holds degrees from two universities: MSc (Civil Engineering) from the Helsinki University of Technology and Ph.D. from the University of Reading (UK). Chairman, Project Management Association Finland (1998-2000). Adjunct Professor, Helsinki University of Technology. He has published over 100 papers and 28 books or monographs for which he contributed as a principal author, co-author or editor.
